Modeled with Blender, and textured using procedural textures ( is quite far away from the camera in it's final use).

I built these structure using a modular workflow so it doesn't take too much of my time, then use procedural textures to materialize the buildings in the back. The ground use a mix of 2 scanned material from Megascan and blender node for the puddles. Rendered in Cycles.
Some historical info : This is a fantasized version of medieval Kyoto, which is called Heiankyo at this period, which have 2 signature temple (Toji and Saiji, 5 floor ~50m height ) on 2 side of the main revenue ( which is 85m in width) and it's signature gate Rajoumon. The fantasy part is this 60m wall stand tall behind these structure since this city have never been at war, and the construction material here is not enough for a 60m to cover the city. The scene is a view from inside the city.
